"The building is a traditional, antique-style building. The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen all met our needs. The induction cooker seemed to have been used by too many people, making it difficult to adjust the heat. The air conditioner in the second-floor room couldn't turn on the heating function. Overall, however, we were very satisfied. 👍"

I liked the Kyoto atmosphere. I liked that we could all sit together at a single-piece wooden table. I was glad that there was heating in all the rooms.
Disliked
The listing stated that a TV was installed, but it was only in the bedroom, not the living room. We couldn't watch terrestrial TV. My children were looking forward to watching the Kohaku Uta Gassen (New Year's Eve music show), so it was very disappointing. We were specifically looking for a room with a TV. I wish they had included more details about what was provided around the kitchen.
