"Charming and beautiful."

Noriko and Francois were so lovely. They have put so much effort into restoring their beautiful and historic home. It was lovely to have space to cook. It is also beautiful to walk around the area. There is a shinto shrine nearby with 300 year old trees. The view of the mountains is spectacular. If you want a cozy escape, this is a wonderful spot.

Very friendly hosts. Beautifully restored traditional Japanese house with many loving details. Cozy, well-equipped kitchen for cooking.
Disliked
The walls are thin, but that's to be expected with traditional construction. And since there are only two rooms, it's not too bothersome.

Noriko and Francois were excellent hosts. The area was beautiful and so close to ski resorts. The traditional Japanese home was so unique. We had a great experience.
