We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this property. The house is beautifully renovated, very clean, and incredibly comfortable. It felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and everything was thoughtfully prepared for our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the utensils you might need (including a rice cooker), which made it easy to cook a full dinner one night. The shower was excellent — hot, powerful, and perfect after long days in the snow. The washer/dryer was also outstanding, which made a big difference during a winter trip. The location is fantastic for skiing. It is about 10 minutes to Akakura Onsen, around 20 minutes to Myoko Kogen resorts, roughly 30 minutes to Arai, and only a short drive to Nozawa Onsen. It’s a perfect base if you want to explore multiple ski areas. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive. Every morning after snowfall, the driveway was cleared for us, which we really appreciated. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and well maintained, with snow cleared quickly from the roads. We truly have no complaints — everything about the stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. We would happily stay here again.
