I've stayed in Tengachaya in the same area in a different STAY during my last visit in Dec 2023. Therefore, I chose back Tengachaya station that has a direct train to Kansai airport and Subway to the city, which is so convenient to travel around within Osaka and Kyoto. You will find Supermarket, McDonald, Lawson, Drugstore, and Laundry shop nearby walking distance. The house was spacious with one bunk bed and 5 single beds that can easily accommodate up to 8pax. Living room with sofa and TV.

FYI, you will have to climb the stairs and carry heavy luggage to the first floor. No elevator, have to be careful with a very steep staircase. I'm travelling with my 2 kids and my 72yrs old mom. If wants to check-out late can pay ¥2,000 for one hour, max. late check out until 12noon only. The shower room was located next to the entrance while the toilet was separated and located inside the living room. The washlet buttons sometimes were malfunction. The bathroom was dusty, and the toilet bowl had stubborn dark stains that had been around for quite a long time and can tell that either the cleaner not doing the cleaning properly (please refer to photos attached for your reference). The washing machine was removed, so have to go to the laundrette nearby cost ¥1,400 (60mins) for wash & dry services.
