They said their rice cooker was broken and they didn't have one.

The facilities, including cooking utensils, were excellent. They also accommodated changes in the number of guests by adjusting the amount of bedding and bath towels.

I initially went to Log Cottage Hata, a nearby lodge run by a father, by mistake. I found the correct lodge after searching online, so it was partly my fault for not checking properly, but I was a bit flustered (lol).

We chose this place because of its convenient location and positive reviews. It was spacious, quiet, and relaxing – perfect for families with children. The roads leading there were narrow, but the parking lot was large and had plenty of space. Above all, the interior was clean, cute, and stylish, and we were especially happy to find a Japanese-style room.

I didn't receive an email the day before, so I didn't know the PIN and was left waiting without being able to open the door. I tried calling, but it was outside of business hours and I didn't get a reply to my email. I looked it up online and called the main building to ask for the PIN, but they were unhelpful, saying it wasn't related to the annex. The email reply finally arrived after midnight on the day of check-in. There was no apology, and the PIN was only written in this email for the first time. Shouldn't they have contacted me at least by the day before? I almost had to sleep in my car because I couldn't get into my room. If they're going to tell me to notify them of time changes by phone, they should at least provide a phone number where they can be reached at any time, and they should reply to emails promptly. What's the point of replying to an email in the middle of the night? The room was nice, so it's really a shame. The air conditioner remote control had dead batteries and no spares, so I think they need to check their amenities more carefully.
