Tucked into the quiet residential neighbourhood of Horikiri in eastern Tokyo, this characterful three-bedroom apartment offers a genuinely local experience far removed from the tourist bustle of the city centre. The Horikiri district sits close to the Katsushika area, a part of the Japanese capital known for its shitamachi atmosphere — that old, unhurried spirit of traditional Tokyo that has largely disappeared elsewhere. Nearby Horikirimizube Park and the surrounding network of shrines and small temples give the neighbourhood a calm, rooted quality that makes arriving here feel like a genuine discovery rather than just checking in somewhere. 1, Horikiri Entire house for rent provides exclusive use of the entire property, meaning guests have three separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living and dining area, and a balcony entirely to themselves. Free WiFi keeps everyone connected, and on-site parking removes one of the more stressful logistical headaches of driving in Tokyo. The addition of a swimming pool and a restaurant rounds out an amenity list that goes well beyond what most self-catering apartments in the city can offer, combining the independence of a private home with a few welcome comforts. This property suits families and groups of friends particularly well, given the generous layout and the freedom that comes with having a private kitchen and multiple bedrooms under one roof. It also works well for longer stays, when having your own space matters more than hotel convenience. Tokyo Haneda Airport is around 31 kilometres away, making arrivals and departures reasonably straightforward. Travellers who want to experience everyday Tokyo life — local markets, neighbourhood temples, riverside walks — rather than a postcard version of the city will feel right at home here.

We were 12 and the house was big enough for all of us.. There are 2 baths and 3 toilets. There is also a washing machine but its kind a difficult to operate (japanese language) so we decided to go to the coin laundry which is about 6mins walk. It is also walking distance from 7-11, Aeon and Daiso. There are also food resto near the train station. Overall it was good and comfortable to stay in this house.
