"Disappointing experience"

The location is convenient, close to metro connections and the airport, and private parking is a plus.separate bedroom. Kitchen, washing machine, coffee maker.
Disliked
The space appears to be a converted commercial unit rather than a proper apartment, and it feels that way in practice. The layout is very tight — even two adults can barely move comfortably, especially in the bathroom. Temperature and air quality were major issues. It was very hot inside, and although there is air conditioning, it does not work effectively for the upper sleeping area (second level), where it becomes especially uncomfortable. There was also a noticeable unpleasant smell and high humidity. The second level is very неудобен and feels unsafe. Access is via a steep metal ladder, which is difficult to use and not practical. It is easy to slip — I even got a few bruises. This setup is especially unsafe when traveling with a child. Sound insulation is very poor — you can clearly hear neighbors and outside noise. We were traveling with a child, and this made the stay particularly difficult. Many things are technically “available” in the apartment, but in practice they are not very usable — the overall setup feels impractical and poorly thought through.

Free private parking is available. For those looking to save money, this is a good option, with a price in the lower Milanese average for an apartment with two double bedrooms (although the second bedroom is on a mezzanine above the kitchen). Very helpful staff, accommodating us with everything despite our concerns and expectations. The apartment was recently renovated and furnished, with a lovely large shower and attractive marble floors. Stable, fast, and functional WiFi. Kimbo coffee pods are available.
Disliked
Former commercial space whose master bedroom overlooks the street level Piazza Artigianato (though relatively quiet, distant traffic can be heard) and the surrounding sidewalks, where people pass by and sometimes stop to chat (everything can be heard). A small window on the parking lot side, only above the door, cannot be darkened, but it provides light to the mezzanine. There are no shutters, only a perforated roller shutter in the main bedroom, so there's no option to darken the room for sleeping (the square is well lit at night). Poor overall attention to detail and finishing (everything seemed a bit makeshift), as well as cleanliness (a few stains, hair, crumbs here and there, dust, and the smell of smoke and damp). Accessories, appliances, and furniture, including reclaimed or very basic ones, were all spotless. Aesthetic and furnishing choices were haphazard, with some pieces of furniture in disrepair (a piece of furniture in the bedroom needs replacing) or unusable accessories (a toilet roll holder on the floor with a sticker; a trash can, mop, and broom in the middle of the kitchen; a microwave above the refrigerator that wasn't plugged in and had an unreachable outlet; an electrical outlet was missing from the large bedroom; a hairdryer needed replacing; the welcome sign itself was torn off and fell to the floor with the masking tape still on it...). Bed linen and towels (one was missing from the entrance, by the way) were not dried properly after washing, resulting in an unpleasant musty smell. Smoky smell throughout the house. Not soundproofed, not only from the outside but also from neighbors. The mezzanine and door were not insulated. The sliding door in the bedroom was not at all insulated from the rest of the house. There were no bedside tables or lamps, and no outlets near the bed. The house was cold upon arrival. It was difficult to remove and return the keys to the safe due to the large key ring. Once the keys were returned, the parking lot was blocked from exiting without repeating the entire process.

The electricity was tripping a lot, but the owner helped us once and from there we just fixed it on our own, it was easy.
