About this property

Tucked into the quiet coastal village of Saint Helens in County Wexford, Lynn Cottage St Helens Village carries the easy, unhurried atmosphere of a genuine Irish seaside escape. The property sits close to Saint Helen's Bay Beach, making it a natural base for anyone drawn to the wild, sandy stretches of the Wexford coastline. This is a corner of Ireland that rewards those who take their time, with rolling green countryside meeting the sea and small roads leading to genuinely unspoiled shores. The accommodation at Lynn Cottage St Helens Village is built around generous, self-contained houses rather than conventional hotel rooms, which immediately sets it apart. Guests can choose between a three-bedroom house, a four-bedroom holiday home, or a five-bedroom house, each offering the kind of space that lets a group or family settle in properly rather than simply sleep over. A swimming pool adds a welcome touch of comfort, and the on-site restaurant means that guests can enjoy a proper meal without venturing far. Free parking and reliable WiFi are both included, sensible practicalities that take the hassle out of longer stays. With its range of spacious house options, this property suits families and friend groups particularly well, offering enough room for everyone to spread out while sharing communal spaces. Couples might find the larger houses a little more than they need, though the peaceful surroundings make it a genuinely restful retreat for two as well. The nearby Rosslare Europort also makes this a smart first or last night stop for travellers arriving into or departing from Ireland by ferry, and the historic town of Wexford is within easy reach for an afternoon exploring its medieval streetscape.

"Something for all of our party, swings, lovely beach walks, short walking distance to food and drink"

Liked

Great Location for access to a lovely Beach and IOAC Adventure Centre and in general a great location for visiting Wexford. It is an ideal location for a young family as there was playground, tennis court and football pitch on site. It was also really nice to be able to stroll to the pub and for a tipple and some food in the Golf Clubhouse onsite.

Disliked

The shower in the main bathroom was very difficult to turn on the first two times I used it. I could not turn it at all after the second time. While previous reviews said that it was ideal and safe for a dog, we didn't find this we have a small dog so she could easily get out under the fence and the side gate would not close

"Great location & potential, needs better cleaning."

Liked

Table tennis, location to beach, playground and tennis court. Lovely garden table also.

Disliked

The bedrooms had very bad odours, carpets were badly stained and the bedding smelled of BO. It gave a very unclean and unsettling feeling. Sofas were badly stained with odours. Main shower is on the verge of breaking, difficult to use. Many windows in the kitchen and conservatory wouldn’t open and this made the room extremely warm and stuffy. No towels provided. No hand soap. Garden unkempt , and patio filthy. Garden gate and fence not secure for small dogs.
