Tucked into the storied Buda side of Budapest, this quietly impressive four-star apartment property sits within easy reach of some of the Hungarian capital's most celebrated sights, including the medieval Buda Castle and the ornate spires of Matthias Church. The neighbourhood has a distinctly residential feel compared to the busier stretches of Pest across the river, yet the city's most iconic landmarks are effortlessly close, making it a rare find for travellers who want genuine immersion rather than a hotel corridor experience. Cosy home in Buda is centred on a generous two-bedroom apartment that comfortably accommodates small families or travelling companions who appreciate having real living space rather than adjacent hotel rooms. Guests benefit from free WiFi throughout, on-site parking — a genuine luxury in central Budapest — a restaurant for those evenings when cooking feels like too much effort, and access to a swimming pool that elevates the stay well beyond a standard self-catering arrangement. The apartment itself is thoughtfully equipped with a full kitchen, a private entrance, and a terrace where city views can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace. With a guest rating of 9.7 out of 10 from verified stays, the level of satisfaction here speaks clearly for itself. This property appeals particularly to couples wanting a romantic base with space and privacy, small families who benefit from the separate bedrooms and kitchen facilities, and even business travellers who prefer the comfort of a home environment over a conventional hotel room. Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport is roughly 16 kilometres away, making arrival straightforward. For anyone planning to explore the Hungarian capital across several days, this Buda address offers a warm, well-appointed retreat to return to each evening.

"Amazing location and apartment. Close to Metro, with elevator & Parliament view."

Apartment is located very close to metro station, you have stunning view on Parliament building. It is close to Fisherman's bastion by walking distance. Spar is located nearby. Many small restaurants and coffee shops around. Very quiet area. Flat has also balcony, pets are allowed, what was perfect. You had there Books about Budapest and also tourist maps in the living room. Beds comfortable. Flat is well equipped and you have plenty of space. There is air-condition and also in winter heating was fine. There is elevator in the building and apartment is located on the 1st floor. There is also small garden in the area which is locked. It is very convenient. We enjoyed the staying there. And wish to come back again for sure. Thank you.

The hot water only in the shower wasnt working, not sure what was the reason. Owner really apologized for the inconvenience. For short staying it was fine, for longer trip they were willing to arrange the repair immediately when reported. I highly appreciate it. Also window in smaller room was a bit windy, there was a strong cold wind those days, so it shall be probably better adjusted to winter time or some darker and especially heavier curtains could help to avoid freezing air coming inside. Nothing serious, just a small observation. We enjoyed the staying here and want to come back :)

The location is WONDERFUL, the view even better, the apartment is very cute and well-equipped. It's next to the market, very close to restaurants and the metro; you just have to cross the street to see the parliament building.

Only three things bothered me: 1 - The bathroom being separate from the shower (not a big deal, but it was annoying). 2 - The shower had a leak and flooded the entire bathroom, which was a HUGE inconvenience; we constantly had to mop up the floor. 3 - I checked under the beds before leaving to make sure I wasn't leaving anything behind and realized they hadn't cleaned under the furniture in a VERY long time; it was simply filthy. I felt uncomfortable. If they don't clean under the furniture, do they just do a superficial cleaning? Besides, if you're allergic, it's a recipe for ruining your trip.
