The location and view are beautiful. The rooms and living area are spacious.

Disliked

The bed wasn't very comfortable. We needed air conditioning to heat the room, but it was insufficient; unfortunately, the rooms didn't get warm at all.

You can’t take a real shower. It would be so easy for them to attach a bracket to the wall but they don’t, so you sit there in the cold bathtub with the spray attachment. This is deceptively hidden in the photos. It is the only property I’ve been to in years that doesn’t provide a hair dryer. In the photos you see a nice armoire; it is locked, you can’t use it. No bath mat is provided. There is a coffee pot, the inside of which has never been cleaned; it is gross. There is a big stain on the wall in the bedroom. Much of the lighting, especially in the bathroom, is dim.

The apartment is a bit old-fashioned with dated furniture, but it’s very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, close to the old town and the Kavala Aqueduct, and it’s nice and quiet. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the owner was very helpful and easy to contact.

It would be even better with a microwave and stronger bathroom lighting.
