45 Avenida del Camino de Santiago, Fuencarral-El Pardo, 28050 Madrid, Spain
Very Good
20 reviews
Tucked into the northern reaches of Madrid, in the residential Las Tablas neighbourhood of the Fuencarral-El Pardo district, this quietly confident aparthotel sits well away from the city's tourist frenzy while remaining firmly connected to it. The area has a calm, unhurried feel that contrasts nicely with central Madrid's relentless energy, and for travellers who prefer to come home to something resembling a real neighbourhood rather than a hotel corridor, the location makes immediate sense. The Camino de Santiago reference in the name nods to the pilgrim routes that pass through the Spanish capital, giving the property a subtle sense of place and tradition. Cituspace Las Tablas Camino Santiago offers self-catering apartments that are genuinely equipped for longer stays, with full kitchens featuring an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee machine alongside the usual comforts. Air conditioning, flat-screen televisions, and private bathrooms come as standard, and several units include a balcony or terrace where guests can take their morning coffee in the open air. The highlight for warm-weather visits is undoubtedly the private swimming pool set within the garden, a rare luxury for a three-star property in any major European capital. Free private parking adds further practical value, and free WiFi throughout means working remotely is entirely straightforward. With its range of apartment sizes, including three-bedroom options, this property suits families and groups particularly well, as well as relocating professionals or anyone on an extended work assignment in the city. The proximity to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, just a short drive away, makes it equally convenient for frequent flyers. Couples and solo travellers seeking more space and independence than a standard hotel room can offer will also find it a genuinely comfortable base for exploring the Spanish capital.

"Comfortable apartment but the real state that runs it, lacks efforts to resolve issues"

The location was excellent. Quiet and safe. Metro station within walking distance (5min walk). The size of the apartment was great.

We stayed for a total of 10 days and didn’t have hot water for 4 nights (from a Friday afternoon to a Tuesday afternoon). Cituspace didn’t do any effort to get a technician over the weekend. They didn’t escalated the issue as a case of an emergency and get an available technician ASAP. They left us without hot water during the cold weather in Madrid (end of January) for almost half the time of our stay.

The staff at the door wouldn't let us in. We were left out in the street in the cold with our children for over two hours because the employee said our ID was in English and he couldn't read it. He asked how he could verify our identity and was very rude and disrespectful. No one answered any of the phone numbers. When a local woman tried to help, he yelled at her and told her not to come in. The sheets in the rooms were terrible because they had a tear, and the bathroom lacked amenities. There was only a small sample of shampoo, enough for one person, and we had booked for five people. There were no other amenities like toothbrushes, hand shampoo, or anything else. Honestly, I don't recommend it; it needs a lot of improvement.

The location, close to the metro, parking in the building, warmth and coziness upon entering the home.

A video/person explaining how to get to the square and where the entrance to the building is would be appreciated, because in our case we went around in circles quite a bit before finding the square and the entrance door to the building.
