Spacious apartment at a two minutes walk from the beach. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to feel at home. The host was top. Super responsive.

Unfortunately the upstairs neighbor seems to be going through a bit of a rough time and would have periods making a lot of noise.

Perfect location, just steps from Las Canteras beach and Plaza de Santa Catalina. The terrace is lovely. The kitchen has everything you need for a few days' stay.

The elevator is extremely narrow and the building is old. The small room has only one window overlooking the master bedroom.

Overall our experience at this holiday apartment was significantly below expectations, primarily due to issues with noise disruption the overall condition and design of the property. Severe Noise Issues: The lack of soundproofing was the most detrimental aspect of the stay. The internal walls are very thin, allowing sound, conversation, and movement from neighbours to be heard inside the apartment. This was especially intrusive in the very early hours of the morning, impacting very negatively on the ability to sleep. Compounding this, the location on a narrow street meant external noise was also amplified upwards. We were disturbed until very late at night by people talking from the street and apartments directly across from the apartment. We understand that being in a central city location you can expect a certain level of noise; however, the almost constant high sound level made the accommodation essentially unsuited for a restful holiday. Flawed Second Bedroom Design: The second bedroom was incredibly uncomfortable and poorly designed. It features a window that opens directly into the main bedroom - this means that guests in either room cannot put their lights on without completely disturbing the person in the other room, negating any sense of privacy or independent rest. Furthermore, the bedframe in the smaller bedroom is extremely noisy and creaky with any slight movement, making it very difficult to achieve uninterrupted sleep. Problems with this bed have been noted by other reviewers, too. Property Condition: The building itself is visibly run down and old. The general quality of the accommodation felt poor, and it is in need of renovation and maintenance. The kitchen and bathroom in particular were uncomfortable to use. The shower space is tiny, and it is almost impossible not to touch the shower curtain with your body whilst showering. Also, the living area of the apartment would benefit from a coffee table by the sofa.
