Minimalist & Exterior Studio Next to the Beach

The location was ok in relation to both the beach and St. Catalina park with offers. The red wine was very good. Well equipped small apartment, only for one person. The equipment I used worked reasonably well.

Disliked

There were several things that were not very good. 1: Despite several notices, the hallways smelled of smoke almost all day long, both tobacco and hashish. Also registered that "pushers" came and went. 2: The outer door to the street was supposed to be locked 24 hours a day to ensure that unauthorized persons did not have access. The lock here did not work well, which led to an open door. Registered, among other things, domestic disturbances where people were screaming and banging on doors in the middle of the night. 3: The smoke detector in the apartment had been taken down from the ceiling, presumably because it reacts to the tobacco smoke that seeps in from the hallway. In the stairwell itself there was no information regarding escape routes in case of fire + smoke, and there were also no fire extinguishers/water hoses for use in the event of an emergency fire. This is clearly the responsibility of the homeowner/landlord, which in the event of an accident and loss of life would be a very serious matter.... 4: The actual check-in was very stressful because the communication was poor, the PIN code for the door as stated in the letter was not correct, there were several key boxes at the entrance door, and which one should you use? 5: The gasket in the shower fixture leaked water and the plug in the kitchen sink was missing. The door to the shower cubicle fell down due to loose screws, but I managed to put the screws back so that the cabinet worked ok. 6: The TV (which I did not use) hung so crookedly above the bed that I did not dare lie down under it for fear that it would fall down. This meant that I had to lie as far as possible against the wall.
