Beautiful apartment in Montjuic

I did not like anything bout the property or the location apart from one fact that it was 1-1.2 kms away from La Rambla which is the main market. The apartment was bot maintained , towels overly used, utensils dirty, cracks on the floor and just the overall look n feel was not appealing

Dirty utensils , overused toilets, worn out couch , half used / opened sugar/ condiments in the kitchen, the landing floor outside was dirty and had stains. The cleaning staff did a very shabby job with just rinsing the used utensils instead of cleaning them. In addition the entire checkin process was so tedious - why do we need to go 2-3 kms on opposite direction to collect the keys ?? Else pay 30 euros for key delivery?? Why cant the keys be kept in the mail box in the apartment itself ?

Nice location nearby a metro station, super market, and touristic attractions. Clean apartment that matches the pictures, comfortable beds, and good shower pressure.

Disliked

Abusive prices for late check-in, outdated prices for city taxes (which caused a bad surprise at check-in, unfinished bottles of drinks in the fridge, a problem in the door that let us 2h locked out of the apartment (and the host offered no compensation whatsoever), the cleaning people have the key to the apartment and live in the same building floor, which looks unsafe and made us uncomfortable.

The location is 3 minutes from the Para Lel metro station. The apartment is comfortable.

Location was very good, 5 minutes from the metro station, 3 minutes from Lidl, 15-minute walk from La Rambla. Having two toilets/bathrooms is very comfy. Nice little balcony with chairs and a table. The apartment felt safe. Wi-fi was amazing. Check-in was very smooth; the check-in manager was waiting for us and gave us detailed instructions.

The check-in manager was not available in whatsapp during the stay. It was hard to contact the host's emergency hotline because we didn't have a local number.
