Location, location, location

Furniture not too comfortable. Bunk bed didn’t work for us as an elderly couple.

The location is excellent; you have all the amenities you could need nearby: bus stop, pharmacy, train station, supermarkets... It's the most complete apartment we've ever stayed in, even with a heater and a tower fan. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the washer is also a dryer. It has a room with shelves and a shoe rack, and plenty of space to store suitcases.

The worst thing is the lack of cleanliness, except for the kitchen. I don't think they even bothered to dust, since the dining room cabinet was covered in it, as were the baseboards, which were brown with dirt. The bathroom is another story altogether: pubic hair on the walls because they didn't change the cloth. Long hairs in the shower drain grate, and what about the mold on the wall near the faucet and the grease stains from used shower gels on the walls? Those of us who clean know that with the right products, brushes, and cloths, the bathroom is spotless. The sink doesn't drain properly either, and the bathroom door handle keeps falling off. And don't even get me started on what happens if you're cold and decide to take one of the duvets stored in one of the bunk bed drawers. We could only use one because the rest were stained, and I don't even want to know what with. We had to use the towels that were in a dresser that blocked the wardrobe from opening completely. The reason we didn't mention all this is because we were able to manage and didn't trust that the situation would improve. When renting an apartment, even at a good price, there are certain VERY IMPORTANT things to keep in mind. By the way, stop including the key for the automatic door on your keyring because it doesn't work. All it does is encourage people to try to force the door and break it, something a neighbor told us as soon as she saw us with our suitcases. Besides, it's not even necessary to get into the building.

The apartment has a perfect location for those who need to be close to the train and bus station. It's bigger than the photos show. The living room and bedroom with a double bed have air conditioning/heating. The kitchen is quite complete. There was a kit with coffee and tea capsules and sachets of olive oil, vinegar, salt, and sugar. The street is safe and quiet, there's a bus stop almost in front of the building. Maria Zambrano Station is less than 5 minutes away, a place that is a train station, metro station, and a shopping mall with a supermarket. It's also possible to rent a car at one of the rental shops. Communication with the administration was always clear and quick. For our trip, it was a great choice.

The hot water was a bit inconsistent, but it wasn't a big problem. I didn't like the pillows in the bunk bed; they were so thin.
