The apartment appears to be very nice and well-maintained. The bedding was new and comfortable, the bed was comfortable, and so was the sofa bed. The view was stunning and the location was excellent for our schedule. They granted us a late check-in of two hours, which was a great help on our departure day, but in reality, this would have denied us the compensation we were entitled to. The person who handled the many problems we encountered at the apartment was always prompt and responsive.

Disliked

The bathroom never worked and is not commensurate with the appearance and cost of the property. The toilet has an old and worn flush system, and the button broke upon our arrival. There were three of us sharing a single bathroom, and we flushed the toilet with a pot of hot water. The shower is outdated, peeling, and made from a very old bathtub with a very flimsy enclosure mounted on the edge. The sink was always clogged. The drains for all the toilets never worked. Given the extremely high cost of the accommodation, they promised us a discount that was never applied, ultimately saying that the late check-in we had agreed to could be considered a sort of compensation. The coffee machine never worked. We had plumbers in the house for three-quarters of our stay in Barcelona, which caused great inconvenience, embarrassment, and, essentially, completely compromised the relaxation we expect when paying this kind of price. Finally, we would like to point out that the bathroom linens were very old.
