The staff were easy to contact and friendly. The accommodation is located in a very pretty wooded area and is quite peaceful. We were able to admire the squirrels. It's close to a magnificent, huge lake perfect for hiking, swimming, water sports, and a boat trip to the castle. The bedrooms are very spacious, especially the master suite. The bedding is very good, but in the middle of summer, the thick duvets should have been replaced; we were too hot with them, and there were no other options available. The accommodation has plenty of storage, more than enough for a family of four. The kitchen is too small and dark. The table is barely big enough for two. The sofa takes up too much space, I think. We missed having a toaster. The stovetop isn't very efficient; it lacks power. Furthermore, it's impossible to use both burners at the same time. A real hassle for a family. Unfortunately, the terrace is too far away and not easily accessible from the kitchen. I wasn't happy to discover upon arrival that the rented accommodation wasn't separate. In the hallway, a screen marked the end of our space, and behind it was an interior door leading to an office, which also served as living quarters for two people. This door could be opened from their side, and we had no way to lock it from our side. I never felt comfortable with that, especially since there were also security cameras everywhere outside. It gave me the feeling of not being at home. And I really didn't like that. The almost constant presence of the staff didn't help matters, especially since they came out onto the terrace. However, they were quite discreet and left us this very pleasant space. A roof awning should be installed because it's impossible to stay and enjoy it in the sun.
